Product Review: Lo'real Paris's 'True Match' foundation.

Product Review:
Lo'real Paris's True Match foundation.

Hello ladies!
Today, I will be reviewing a foundation by Lo'real Paris, from their collection True Match so, with that said lets get started!

Why I love it?
The True Match foundation is super-blend-able, as it claims. This foundation doesn't only matches my skin colour but also matches my skin texture .Ironically, after applying this foundation I feel like my pores are absorbing the foundation. This leaves my skin beautiful, flawless-looking and lustrous.I find I can usually skip the concealer and powder because it is super-blendable and matte-fying , respectively.Hence, this winter season I wanted something light-weighted and something that could give me matte flawless-looking complexion, here is it I got my hands on this right here however, it completes my needs for this season. *mission accomplished*

NOTE: According to Lo'real's research, 97% of the U.K's female population will be able to find their match within the twenty-two TRUE MATCH shades *pretty impressive* .

Why I bought it?
The reason I bought this was because it claimed that its a true match for your skin colour and texture which is so true.Next, it claimed that it's super-blendable, true again. It claimed that it gives perfect coverage without caking hence, its true. Along with these marvelous benefits it is true-to-skin shades without tide-marks.Its a pretty much affordable foundation with a pump dispenser and a transparent plastic cap as shown below:

I'm in the shade D1-W1 (Golden Ivory)

You can buy it from any local drugstore e.g: Agha's
or
Online, HERE

PKR. 2700

Swatches

Pros:
  • Super-blendable.
  • It contains SPF 17.
  • Matches not only the skin colour but also the texture.
  • Gives perfect coverage.

Cons:
  • Mostly not available at drugstores.
  • The matte-ness only lasts for 3-4 hours.

This is it, let me know in the comments bar down there, 'What is your all-time favourite foundation?'

GOOD LUCK!

Product Review: Colour Studio Professional's Pure Matt Lipstick.

Product Review: Color Studio Professional's
Pure Matt Lipstick
in
Backstage 113.

Hello lovely readers!
First things first, I would like to make two announcements Firstly, that My blog i.e: Beautyguide is now a PBBC member *yayy* that actually makes me the PBBC member, PBBC i.e Pakistani Beauty Blogger Community is a community or a page where registered Beauty Bloggers share their blog posts and have many amusing activities like meet-ups and gift swaps. It's actually a gigantic platform for talented Pakistani Beauty Bloggers to show off their talents and encourage other girls to do the same.
For more details do check out their Facebook fanpage: Here!
And the second announcement is that I'm nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award by Renny R.author of the sincerelyrenny blog. Renny honestly I'm honored.
Go ahead and check her blog out: Here!

Without any further due ,let's get started with the review. CSP's Pure Matt lipsticks were reviewed by each and every blogger literally every but I haven't seen any of the blogger doing a review on BACKSTAGE 113.
So,I decided to do the review:

Why I love it :

Most of the ingredients mentioned on the packing are organic and fragrance/scent of the lipstick smells healthy to me.The lipstick moistens my lips and hydrates them whilst the lip-colour is on it for about 16hrs,the colour of the lipstick which is Backstage 113 is in vogue now a days. These lipsticks are highly pigmented and the colour of the lipstick makes my lips look fuller, pulpier and makes my complexion more blooming fair.
The coral colour is perfect for post-summers and pre-falls :).When I apply this on to my lips there is no further need of applying anything else.

Why I picked this particular colour:

This colour is remarkably attractive and is close to my nature lip colour.I usually wear dark eye make-up so to tone down and to match up with my eyes I usually apply nude/coral/olive -coloured lipsticks/lipcolour so, this is also one of them and will also be good for those days when I'm too lazy to apply anything and would apply it within few seconds and will leave my home boldly as if I have spent hours and hours mixing up lipcolours to make this sharp/eye-catchy but at the same time a very cool lipcolour.

PRONS & CONS!

This was one of my August Favourites, have you yet checked it out :NO?

I hope you have enjoyed reading my reviews for CSP's Pure Matt lipstick.
Donot forget to follow me!
Have a nice day ahead :)

DIY: How to DISINFECT make-up brushes ?

DIY: How to DISINFECT your make-up brushes?

Hello!!
My lovely readers !
Today,I will be telling you how to DISINFECT your make-up brushes plus the DO's and the DON'T's for cleaning the make-up brushes.I bet your make-up brushes contain a lot of germs and tiny dirt particles as, they are breeding ground for bacteria .Everytime when these brushes come in contact to your face they transmit natural oils and bacteria. The first question comes to everyones mind is HOW TO DISINFECT THEM?I will tell you how but first the question is why is wash them ,here's the answer----->

Why to clean them?

This is important because the old make-up ,the sebum ,oil, bacteria and the dirt is trapped on a unclean brush and if next day you are applying these brushes again ,you are reapplying oil and bacteria on your face, you can actually breakout because of this.

Using brush cleaners can be a bit expensive as I wash my brushes almost everyday. But today I'm going to tell you the world's easiest technique to wash+disinfect make-up brushes.

The supplies are super inexpensive and easily available in you kitchen :)

STEP#1: Supplies!
  • An anti-bacterial dish-washing soap = This will remove the, pigments, oil, dirt and will kill the bacteria.
  • A bottle of extra virgin olive oil = The dish-washing soap will extract the natural oils of the hair but this will recondition them.
  • A plate.
  • Couple of tissue papers.
  • 2 spoons.

STEP#2: Quantity!
  • 2 tablespoon dish-washing soap.
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil.

STEP#3 : Place your brushes on a tissue ,as shown in the picture.

STEP#4 :Stir your brushes on the plate in a circular motion.

STEP#5: Wipe these brushes back and fourth on the backside of your hand, it's actually how painters clean their brushes.Repeat this step to remove the pigments and kill the bacteria.(Can you see pigments on my hand)

STEP#6: Rinse your brushes with warm water because HOT water can damage your brushes. Donot rinse in the vertical position because water will seep in and will loosen the glue(which holds the hair together)

STEP#7:Wipe them dry with paper towel because regular towel leaves lint on the brushes.Blot out the excess water.

STEP#8: Leave your brushes upside down in a container/glass to dry.

Once they are dried they will be germ-free and clean.
Now they are ready to use again :)

          GOOD LUCK!
          +
         HAVE A NICE DAY!
